For more than 20 years Hamills Hastings has been servicing the bay from its easy to find location of 106 Nelson Street South.
Locally owned and operated it is one of the original foundation Hamills stores.
The Hastings branch offers an extensive and well tuned range of fishing, hunting and outdoor equipment to suit all budgets.
All the Hamills Hastings team is made up of passionate hunters and fisherman and are highly motivated to help you make that perfect choice.
Our specialist team are more than happy to share a local hot spot whether out on the water, up a river or looking for a new place to hunt.

Jeremy Hanaray - Store Owner
Jeremy Hanaray has been in the fishing and hunting industry for more than 15 years; he is a specialist in his field and is well respected across NZ for his expertise in this trade.
A truly dedicated fisher and hunter Jeremy has enjoyed many outdoor experiences and is keen to help people succeed, he is a member of the Hastings branch of the NZ Deerstalkers Assn and the HB Sporting Shooters Assn.
Hunting has been his life from an early age and his keenness to pass on his experiences has led him into Hunting Guiding - offering hunting trips to help people secure either a first deer or a trophy of a lifetime.
Fishing local waters has also been his pass time either casting a fly in local rivers or fighting with the wide variety of salt water species the bay has to offer.

Nick Kirk - Assistant Manager
A keen fisherman and hunter from an early age Nick has spent many hours with his family surfcasting along the beaches of Hawkes Bay, more recently spending his time out on the water chasing the fish in the deep.
Nick is a member of the H.B.S.F.A and is the current record holder of stripped marlin landed in the Bay
Hunting is also a favourite activity and also spends many hours chasing the wide range of animals that Hawkes Bay offers.
